Food
Scotland is famous for the quality of its produce - beef, venison, seafood, raspberries, whisky, and many more things besides.
The food we serve in our two rosette
Sutherland Restaurant is inspired by the excellence and abundance of that local Scottish produce. With native Scottish flair, our Head Chef Craig Gibb and his award-winning kitchen team create high-quality, contemporary cuisine that changes with the seasons.

We also cater for children with a separate Children Menu.
Every stay at Cringletie House is punctuated with a series of wonderful meals or snacks. You could start with a full Scottish breakfast or perhaps a lighter continental version. You could break up your morning with a coffee and some rich, crumbling shortbread in the Library. Or save yourself for a light lunch in the Conservatory.
A walk in our grounds could work up an appetite for a full afternoon tea. And finally, you could round off a splendid day by dining in the Sutherland Room with its exquisite, hand-painted trompe l'oeil ceiling - choosing from our à la carte menu or the full seven-course tasting menu.
