GAME SHOOTING including ACCOMMODATION and SPECIAL OFFERS at CRINGLETIE

As well as target shooting and clays available on Cringletie Estate, there is a wide range of game shooting, pheasant, grouse, wildfowl and deer stalking available within easy reach of Cringletie Hotel.

At Cringletie we have an experienced professional game keeper who can offer us the following services:

1. ACCOMPANIED STALKING.

This is on a one-to-one basis, and can either go for shooting a Sika deer Stag (1st July-20th Oct), a Roe deer Buck (1st April - 20th Oct) a Hind (21st Oct-15th Feb) or a Doe (21st Oct-31st March).

There are two stalks available per day i.e. morning slot at first light and an evening slot.

2. PHEASANT SHOOTING (from 1st Oct to 31st Jan).

This is also called a driven pheasant shoot for a party of a minimum 8 guns. These days are very much in demand and need to be booked well in advance, ie before end of March for next Autumn.

3. ROUGH DAYS / QUARRY SHOOTING.

This involves one gamekeeper with a group working their way through the estate. The quarry would depend on what was available and allowed, eg pheasant, rabbit, hare, pigeon etc. The costs vary are from a minimum of 2 guns to a maximum of 6 guns.

All prices include the hire of the guns. The transport is separate, in other words the game keeper can pick up and return the guests from/to Cringletie at a cost of £35.

SHOOTING PARTIES ACCOMMODATION at CRINGLETIE

From the 12th August 2011 until 1st February 2012 shooting parties can enjoy the best of accommodation at Cringletie with rates starting from £69 per person sharing.
With very comfortable accommodation, good food, a fine spirits bar and our attentive service we can ensure you enjoy the best of Scottish hospitality in an informal setting.
Parties of 8 or more can take advantage of our group rates and enjoy complimentary whisky tastings and the option of private dining and custom game menus.
