The House
The first thing that will strike you about Cringletie is the beauty of the grounds as you sweep up the drive.
The second thing that may strike you, once you enter the house, is that you'd like to live here. Far from being an impersonal hotel chain, the house is all about comfort, relaxation and personal touches.
Cringletie House combines 19th-century Scottish Baronial atmosphere with 21st-century comfort and convenience. The public rooms - such as the Lounge Bar and the Library - merge traditional elements like log fires with contemporary art. We have a fine collection of paintings, sculptures and other art, most of them by Scottish artists.
The bedrooms range in style from romantic turret rooms to grander suites, each with stylish furnishings that reflect the colours of the Borders countryside. No two bedrooms are the same - except for the high standards of comfort they offer.
