During the renovations in 2004, Cringletie House was made fully wheelchair accessible. The disabled parking, the ramp outside the House and the chairlift to the ground floor of the House have made it possible for wheelchair users to enjoy all the things that Cringletie has to offer. To go to the first and second floor, a passenger lift was also installed.
At the same time, a ground floor room was specifically designed for guests in wheelchairs as was the en-suite.
After conversations with representatives of the Scottish Deaf Association, technical equipment was installed to make guests with impaired hearing feel safe in their bed at night.
