The New Faces of Cringletie

Vivienne and Patrick Bardoulet to step into management at Borders’ top hotel.

Following their success in The Horeseshoe Inn, the pair are spreading their wings to encompass both Cringletie House Hotel’s residential and non-residential business, including private parties, celebrations and weddings.

Hotel owner, Johanna Van Houdt said: “We had an opening and Vivienne and Patrick have always been interested in Cringletie. We were able to strike a deal and together with them we plan to further improve on our already luxury, yet affordable, product, both in quality of service and food.”

Cringletie House already holds many accolades including AA four red stars and four Visit Scotland gold stars along with the highest mobility award for Unassisted Wheelchair Access making it the only hotel in the region to have achieved this level of excellence. Patrick and Vivienne, who hold an array of top awards from their time at the Horseshoe Inn, hope to continue this success at Cringletie.
