Public Rooms
All our public rooms have welcoming log fires - perfect for helping you wind down, as well as keeping you warm. Each room has a service bell, connected to the original butler panel. And, yes, they still work.
Tea and coffee are served in all our Public Rooms. Particular favourites with guests are the ground-floor Lounge Bar, with fine views of the surrounding countryside (and our sheep), and the Library.
The latter is a great opportunity to play the 19th-century laird - lounging on leather sofas and armchairs as you read the newspaper or drink a glass of port.
