Wonderful views over the Eddleston Valley

Tours

Whichever way you want to tour the Borders, we are happy to help or give recommendations. We can recommend private chauffeurs to drive you around the sights.

If you would rather "go as you please", we can show you scenic driving routes, cycle routes or hiking routes. We can also provide you with a wonderful picnic hamper for your lunch!

Here are just a few of the nearby places you might choose to visit:

Abbeys
If you want to tour the abbeys at Melrose, Jedburgh and Dryburgh, Historic Scotland offers Borders Explorer passes. If you also want to include a visit to Edinburgh in your itinerary, you should opt for the normal Historic Scotland Explorer pass. We can arrange either type of pass for you.

Gardens
What about a visit to Dawyck Botanic Gardens or Kailzie Gardens with its osprey watch and trout pond?

Cashmere
Hawick Cashmere has stores as far afield as Japan and the USA but it is still headquartered in the Scottish Borders, and it has a superb store in nearby Kelso. Once you've finished ogling the cashmere there, you could head for Lochcarron Mill in Galashiels, where you may see a range of Scottish tartans being made, among them the special tartan created in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Private Chauffeur
We recommend the services of WL Sleigh Ltd in Edinburgh. Their luxury cars and limousines can take you to all the "must see" tourist attractions, as well as any other places you want to add to the itinerary. Please click here for details.

We also recommend Green Lyne in West Linton. Iain Simpson has a great knowledge of the local area and he too can take you anywhere you want (within reason!).
Both companies are very popular, so we advise booking well in advance.
