We regularly host and organise weddings on an exclusive use basis only, with Cringletie becoming your ‘home’ for the duration of your stay. The exclusive use charge is inclusive of all accommodation, the public lounges, dining room and full Scottish breakfast for upto 26 guests in nine bedrooms, three Junior Suites and one Master Suite (usually reserved for the Bride & Groom). One of the 12 rooms is adapted to cater for wheelchair users and there is a lift which accesses all the floors of the House.

The bedrooms range in style from romantic turret rooms to grander suites, each with stylish furnishings that reflect the colours of the Borders countryside.  No two bedrooms are the same - except for the high standards of comfort they offer.
Inside, our graceful reception rooms and elegant Sutherland Restaurant provide the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast and other celebrations.  Our location close to Edinburgh city and Edinburgh Airport (half an hour’s drive) makes us convenient for flights to your honeymoon destination too.

The Borders region has a lot to offer and Cringletie House is the perfect location for our wedding guests to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. It is situated only 2 miles from the lovely market town of Peebles with its quaint shops, several delightful churches and River Tweed running through it.  Edinburgh city and Edinburgh Airport are only 40 minutes away.

We are licensed to hold civil and religious ceremonies throughout both the House and Grounds and can take care of all the little details to ensure that the big day runs smoothly – red carpet for your arrival, sumptuous wedding breakfast, champagne for the toast, personalised table plan and, of course, luxury overnight accommodation for yourself and your new husband or wife.
