The party will then move to the Conservatory overlooking the lawns and where you will experience the charm and engage in learning all about our Scottish culture.
Meet Rachael from Border Kilt Craft - she was apprenticed as a kilt-maker for three years at a prestigious kilt-makers and now her interest is in designing and weaving Borders Tweed. Rachael’s biggest interest is in sharing her skills so that the traditional crafts of kilt-making and weaving do not disappear. She will also bring with her a miniature working loom to demonstrate the real art of kilt craft so you may leave with a piece of history all of your own

After the delicious break the party are free to enjoy a game of croquet, pitch & putt, explore the 400 year old walled garden. Wander through the grounds of this truly beautiful example of a Scottish baronial mansion providing the charm of history and immersing your senses in making lasting memories.
