Christmas Day Lunch

Join us for a traditional Christmas Day lunch at Cringletie House.

The fires will be lit and the house will be decorated, ready to give you a warm welcome and celebrate Christmas with family and friends.

Our head chef, Iain Gourlay, has created a delicious four course menu for you to indulge in, and there’s plenty of choice with three options for each course.

From Orkney crab and tomato jelly cannelloni, or a terrine of confit chicken with chicken liver parfait, to salt baked beetroot with goat’s cheese mousse for starters.

There’s an intermediate course of a clementine sorbet or celeriac and apple soup, before you tuck in to your main course. Will you enjoy an exquisite fillet of Tweed Valley beef, or Scottish salmon with butter poached langoustines, or plump for the traditional bronze turkey with confit leg of duck, served with roasted duck fat potatoes and all the trimmings?

Moving onto dessert there’s a trio of Christmas flavours with a mini Yule log, Christmas pudding ice-cream and gingerbread trifle, or a chocolate and coffee mousse with praline filled doughnut, or a spiced apple and walnut pudding.

For those who prefer a savoury dish to complete their Christmas lunch, diners can enjoy a selection of fine cheeses, artisan crackers and frozen grapes.

The price per person is £89, children aged 4-12 years old are half price and children under 4 are free.
