The extensive gardens at Cringletie House have always been a draw for our guests and the summer brings vibrant colour to the estate. The colourful rhododendrons are out in force, the woodland is a canopy of green and our walled garden is the perfect place to enjoy the flowers and herbs. You can choose from a huge selection of nearby gardens to visit including Dawyck Botanical Gardens - home to one of Scotland’s finest tree collections, Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh is less than an hour away and Kailzie Gardens is located minutes away just outside Peebles.
For history lovers there is a wealth of Scottish heritage to discover on our doorstep such as Abbotsford House, Floors Castle, Traquair House, Neidpath Castle, Bowhill, the legends of Sir Walter Scott and the famous Rosslyn Chapel.
