Dinner


Dinner is served nightly from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. in The Sutherland Restaurant; reservations are recommended. 

Cringletie Hotel Sutherland Fine Dining Restaurant

In our operation of the Sutherland Restaurant, we seek to observe the best traditions of fine-dining, with our kitchen brigade focusing on the careful preparation of dishes and front of house team committed to high standards of table service in their presentation.

The Scottish Borders have a wide and fantastic range of food which we try to incorporate in all menus and, where possible, we utilise ingredients from our own Walled Garden and across the estate. 

We believe a combination of local and international ingredients create dishes that not only look good and taste delicious but will also satisfy the most discerning palate.

Our seasonal A La Carte menu seeks to provide a comprehensive dining experience reflecting all of our team’s passion and the very best quality produce available in Scotland. 

A 5 or 7 course Tasting Menu option is also available, if you are looking to further expand your Taste Experience.

Sample Dinner Menu

On Sunday evenings we also feature the Gourmet Sunday package, comprising of a nine-course tasting menu with matching wines to complement most of the dishes. This commences at 6.15 p.m with a glass of Joseph Perrier Blanc de Blancs champagne whilst Chef presents the evening’s menu.

Children are welcome to dine in the restaurant: highchairs are available and we offer a children’s menu. Of course, children are also welcome to make their choices from dinner menus.
