The Scottish Borders have a wide and fantastic range of food which we try to incorporate in all menus and, where possible, we utilise ingredients from our own Walled Garden and across the estate. We believe a combination of local and international ingredients create dishes that not only look good and taste delicious but will also satisfy the discerning palate.
The daily changing menus Chef Robin creates, seek to provide a comprehensive dining experience reflecting all of his passion and the very best quality produce available in Scotland.
A dinner of 7 or 9 courses is served nightly from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. in The Sutherland Restaurant; reservations are recommended.
Menus are seasonal and you can expect a relaxed and enjoyable experience with a fine-dining feel, sensibly sized portions and beautifully presented dishes.
We will do our best to accommodate any special dining requests and. if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know.

On Sunday nights we also feature Gourmet Sunday, a nine-course tasting menu with matching wines. This commences at 6.15 p.m with champagne & canapes served whilst Chef presents the evening’s menu.
Children are welcome to dine in the restaurant: highchairs are available and we offer a children’s menu. Of course, children are also welcome to make their choices from dinner menus.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are always available.
