We have 15 rooms and suites including Ardean, a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom self-catering guest cottage in the grounds. Each room has its own characteristics from romantic turrets to feature fireplaces. The hotel is also highly accessible with direct access from the carpark to all public rooms and most guest rooms.

With awards including 2 AA Rosettes and The Hotel Awards “Hotel Dining Experience of the Year 2019”, The Sutherland Restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily featuring locally sourced produce. Afternoon tea is also served daily and a wide selection of function menus is offered for weddings and other private events.

A hill-top location with panoramic views of the surrounding country, our listed Walled Garden – dating back to 1666 – is the central feature of the 28 acre estate. Also explore our Nature/Historical Trail – a 1 mile walk through woodlands and circling the estate. Pitch-and-putt golf, croquet, boules and outdoor chess are included in outdoor activities.
